1. Chicken : 500 gms
2. Yogurt : 150 gms
3. Coriander Powder : 2 tsp
4. Chilli Powder : 1 tsp
5. Garam Masala : 1 and 1/2 tsp
6. Salt : To taste
7. Ginger garlic paste : 4 tbsp
8. Onion : 3 pc
9. Tomato : 2 pc
10. Ginger : 20 gm
11. Cashew/ Almond : 50 gms
12. Garlic : 4 cloves
13. Oil
14. Green Chilly
15. Cilantro
METHOD:
1. Marinate the chicken with yogurt, 1 tsp coriander powder, chilli powder, garam masala, salt and 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Refrigerate for 2-3 hrs.
2. Make a paste with 2pc onion, 2 pc tomato, 20 gms ginger, 4 cloves garlic and 50 gms cashew. Add little salt and saute in simmer till the oil separates. Keep it aside.
3. Now heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the chicken and keep aside.
4. Now add 1 chopped onion, salt and 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and salt and mix them properly.
5. Now add 1 finely chopped tomato, chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder and 1 tsp garam masala and saute till oil starts separating.
6. Now add the fried chicken and cover it with the gravy. Now add the paste prepared in step 2 and stir for 5 more minutes.
7. Now add chopped green chilly and chopped cilantro and cook for 5 more minutes and serve.
Note:
1. Usually it is prepared in tawa and tandoor but in home it is difficult to arrange a big tawa and tandoor. So to do in kadhai.
2. If you want then instead of frying the chicken, use micro+convection optoion in 220 degree for 20 minutes and then grill for 15 minutes. It will be same like tandoor..
