Chicken Chap

INGREDIENTS:
1. Chicken : 1.5 kg
2. Onion paste : 300 gms
3. Grated garlic : 100 gms
4. Grated ginger : 50 gms
5. Salt : to taste
6. Kashmiri red chilli powder : 1/2 tsp
7. Curd : 250 gms
8. Water : 1/2 glass
9. Oil
10. Cloves : 4, cardamoms : 5 make a dry powder of the two
11. Coriander Leaves : 1 spring

METHOD:
1. Marinate the chicken with ginger, garlic and pinch of salt.keep for an hour.
2. Heat oil in a vessel add onion till pinkish brown
3. Add red chilli powder and sautee.
4. Add salt when oil leaves sides of the vessel
5. Add chicken, fry till 20 mins until soft
6. Add the curd, fry well
7. Add the water and cover and let it simmer
8. Add to the vessel coriander leaves, cover and cook
9. Once it resches thick consistency, sprinkle with elaichi clove powder and cover
10. Lid tightly and allow to cook for 10 mins
